Author Guidelines

These guidelines explain the academic, ethical and technical requirements for manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Education and Skills for the Green Economy.

Before submission

Authors should confirm that their manuscript is original, relevant to the journal’s scope, academically rigorous and prepared in accordance with these guidelines.

Submissions that do not meet the journal’s basic requirements may be returned for technical revision or declined before peer review.

Language

Manuscripts must be submitted in clear academic English. Authors are responsible for the accuracy, clarity and consistency of the language. The journal may request language revision before or after peer review.

Manuscript formatting

  • Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx);

  • Number all pages consecutively;
  • Use clearly differentiated heading levels;
  • Number tables and figures in the order they appear;
  • Define abbreviations at first use;
  • Use SI units wherever applicable;
  • Ensure that all in-text citations appear in the reference list and vice versa.

Double-anonymous review preparation

IJESGE uses double-anonymous peer review. The main manuscript file must not reveal the authors’ identities.

  • Remove author names and affiliations from the manuscript;
  • Remove acknowledgements that identify authors or institutions;
  • Replace identifying self-references with neutral wording where necessary;
  • Remove personal information from file properties and tracked changes;
  • Upload author information separately through the submission system.
